It's been a long wait for "Final Fantasy XV," and it'll continue to be a long wait (the game's not set to release until an undisclosed date next year). It wasn't always this way- according to KpopStarz, the game was originally slated for release sometime in 2014, but since then, delays and poor expectations for the market have caused Square Enix to bump it back until 2015.
And while we don't know exactly when that 2015 date might be, we do know a few things. KpopStarz claims the game's release date is March 2015, but there's one big flaw in that possibility- we already know when the first demo for "Final Fantasy XV" will appear, and it's March 20, 2015. So the chances are awfully slim that Square Enix would launch a demo for a game, and then have that game hit the market a maximum of 10 days later.
That demo news comes from Digital Spy, who've reported that another "Final Fantasy" installment, "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD," will be releasing on that March 20, 2015 date, and that all copies of the game will come with a demo of "Final Fantasy XV," titled "Episode Duscae."
Square Enix has just put out a trailer for "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD," which can be seen below.
As well, we know that Square Enix is planning to release "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" at the same time, and Christian Post reports a rumor that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature characters from the massive Disney hit, "Frozen." Presumable, at least Elsa and Ana would appear in the game, but the rumors are still a little on the vague side.
But given how insanely popular "Frozen" was, rumors like this are to be expected.
Check back soon for the latest news on "Final Fantasy XV."
