EXO's Chanyeol and Tao will be featured in the upcoming solo album of their label mate Super Junior-M's Zhoumi.
Zhoumi's solo debut EP, "Rewind" will be released online on October 31. It will feature the two EXO members as rappers for the Korean and Chinese versions of the track. Chanyeol of EXO-K will feature in the Korean version, while Tao of EXO-M will feature in the Chinese counterpart, KpopStars reports.
Meanwhile, last October 27, SM Entertainment announced the debut of a new male solo artist, however he was not named. The teaser came with a photo of an anonymous man, who was revealed the following day as Zhoumi, member of the Chinese sub-group of Super Junior.
This is not the first time a member of Super Junior-M debuted as a solo artist. Fellow member Henry Lau also debuted this year with "Fantastic." According to the KPop Herald, Zhoumi will debut as a ballad singer, unlike Henry, whose style is more of the pop-dance genre.
Zhoumi is also known as a member of SM The Ballad. He is not just a singer, but a songwriter as well. The idol has composed songs for Super Junior-M, Kangta, EXO-M, and Tasty. However, it was not yet confirmed if the eight-track "Rewind" would include a song composed by Zhoumi.
While the mini album will be available today online, fans will have to wait until November 3 for the release of the physical album in Korea.
Meanwhile, EXO fans were asking whether the featured EXO members Chanyeol or Tao will appear on Zhoumi's upcoming performances in music shows. It was reported that another SM label mate, Amber of f(x), will do the rap part for Zhoumi's live performances.
Amber will join Zhoumi on stage this coming weekend on MBC's Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo.
