Avid fans of "The Originals," will surely understand the story of the original vampire family, the Mikaelsons.
First seen in as characters from the much watched series, "The Vampire Diaries," Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah were the siblings from the original vampire family and they were known as "the Originals." Joseph Morgan, who plays the lead role in "The Originals," released the news that Dobrev would be on the set of the series. She will not be playing her role as Elena Gilbert from the hit series, "The Vampire Diaries," but will be playing the role of the original doppelganger, Tatia.
Fans are asking if Dobrev will be pursuing her stint on "The Originals," and if she will become a regular after news that she and co-star Ian Somerhalder are in an awkward stance with each other.
The character, Tatia as reported by The International Business Times, tells of the original story of the doppelganger and how Klaus and Elijah, the Mikaelson siblings had both built their lives around her. Executive producer of the hit series, Julie Plec, gave her two cents when asked who she would want to do a crossover from "The Vampire Diaries," to "The Originals." Plec answered that she would want Stefan, Paul Wesley's character, as they have a lot of chemistry together with Klaus.
This was reported by the Wrap, another character that might be making their appearance in "The Vampire Diaries," would be Rebekah played by Claire Holt, the original vampire sister of the Mikaelsons.
According to Wetpaint.com, Rebekah will be seen in "The Vampire Diaries," possibly with the child of Klaus as she was given the duty of taking care of the little hybrid. According to Plec, Rebekah will certainly add more to the current storyline of the series.
Fans are just waiting to find out what will happen between the two series and how each character will find their way into the different stories of each vampire, doppelganger and hybrid.
