"GTA V Online" Heists DLC is in the works as confirmed by this article on ComputerandVideogames.com and Rockstar also gives a sneak peek of the PS4, Xbox One, and PC version of "GTA V".
CVG got their hands on a preview build of the upcoming next-gen port of "GTA V" and Rockstar was able to give them a taste of what's to come with upgraded graphics, exclusive content, and better performance.
It has been confirmed that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will run at 1080p and 30FPS while having upgraded graphics and better performance compared to the previous versions.
Meanwhile on the PC version of the game, it has been confirmed that players will be able to go for 4K resolutions and obviously better framerates compared to the console versions.
Both console versions will also have new content including new wildlife, soundtracks, costumes, missions, guns, and more. Taking advantage of next-gen systems, "GTA V" features a new lighting engine and extra details.
Of course Rockstar also revealed the First-Person mode for the game which is both spectacular and interesting as it is the first GTA to do so. By using First-Person mode you can view the interiors of various vehicles, planes, guns, and even a closer look at NPCS and players. Not to mention that Rockstar also added new textures and even animations to compliment the addition of the First-Person mode.
Last but not least is the confirmation of the Heists DLC which Rockstar confirmed to be on the works and is almost complete for release soon. The long awaited DLC will also make use of the new First-Person mode where you can have FP-only races and deathmatches. Rockstar also confirmed that you will be able to create your own custom-created FP content as well.
Although it was first speculated that the DLC would be released during the Halloween event but it seems that recent rumors and speculations suggesting it would be released early 2015, around the end of January which coincides with the PC release date.
