With so many social media sites and thousands upon thousands of people getting in on the craze it is no wonder that one of the latest hastags has become yet again a sensation all over the world: #AlexFromTarget.
All thanks to Twitter a young man who bags groceries at Target has become an overnight sensation with literally quite a big number of citations of him on the internet and even with Hollywood comedian Ellen DeGeneres joining in on the fun of the #AlexFromTarget.
A report from The Sydney Morning Herald shows DeGeneres' tweet that said, "Hey, #AlexFromTarget, it's #EllenFromEllen" and has since been retweeted and favorited thousands of times.
The amazing turn of events for Alex from Target, known by his real name as Alex Christopher LeBeouf, has been a whirlwind for the young man and he has been quite fond of the attention that he has gotten since being featured on Twitter.
According to Stuff the high school student was indeed very surprised from all the attention that he has gotten and never really expected the outcome of suddenly having half a million followers and with Target and Ellen DeGeneres as some of the leading citations that made him an instant celebrity.
Fashion & Style reveals Target's tweet that states, "We heart Alex, too! #alexfromtarget" and it seems that the company was in on all the publicity and fame that the young man has been getting from everyone all over the internet.
And aside from Ellen introducing herself to Alex from Target, her comedic antics never end as she surprisingly was in on the fun and joined in the bandwagon with another Tweet that said, "I just got an #AlexFromTarget tattoo." Since the feature of #AlexFromTarget from November 2, Ellen DeGeneres has now become friends with the actual Alex from Target on Twitter.
