Elisabeth Hasselbeck finally returned to "Fox & Friends" after taking a break from the show last October 15 and now she reveals what that disclosed surgery was in fact a removal of a tumor in her abdomen.

The show was live on air but you can watch a repeat of it on Fox News official "Fox & Friends" web portal.

After being welcomed back by her co-hosts Steve Doocy and Eric Bolling, Hasselbeck revealed it was in fact a tumor in her abdomen that put her into "a bit of a scare". She goes on to explain that, "The doctor said, 'You got to get it out by the end of the month, we don't like how it looks".

When it was announced that Hasselbeck wasn't going to be on the show for a couple of weeks, a representative of Fox News told TheWrap that, "Elisabeth has asked for all to respect her wishes for privacy in regards to further details at this time".

Although the past few weeks were scary because she and her family didn't know what the results would tell. "But I'm okay, everything came back okay. Surgery's not fun, but it is necessary to find out if you have something really terrible", Hasselbeck says.

She also adds that it was a "blessing of it not being cancer" and thanks the entire Fox family including Fox News CEO, Mr. Roger Ailes.

Before coming back to the show, Elisabeth Hasselbeck also posted a tweet on her Twitter that reads:

"Full of #gratitude to be back TOMORROW 6am EST on @foxandfriends ! Morning are #BetterWithFriends like all of you!"

As the show continued on, co-hosts Brian and Eric Bolling had a surprise for Elisabeth. They gave her a cake and said it was from the "Cake Boss" in reference to the recently arrested "Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro.

Nevertheless, Hasselbeck thanked her co-hosts and also said thanks to the "Cake Boss", as Eric shared a snarky comment, "Wherever you are".
