It seems that the reality star of '19 kids and counting' on the TLC network has earned the ire of social media yet again when she posted yet another preachy religious statement on her Instagram account last Saturday. The Duggar family has come under fire recently after insulting the LGBTQ community. With her recent Instagram posts, Jessa Duggar is fast becoming the most controversial member of the Duggar family.
In her recent Instagram post, the reality star has said that, "The average person gets just 675,000 hours of life. That's all you have if you cross the road carefully, wear your seatbelt, and avoid diseases and everything else out there that is trying to kill you. But you will still die. Your precious life is slipping through your fingers by the minute, and there is nothing you can do about it."
Jessa ended her post by saying, "Give up the battle. Give him your life and you get to keep it. In other words, you can have your cake and eat it." Many of her Instagram followers have grown indignant of her recent posts, calling them to be too controversial. It is to be noted that the Duggar family's anti-gay remarks have resulted in an online petition to ban '19 kids and counting' garnering over "135,000 signatures according to Us Weekly".
The ultra-conservative family has since then filed a counter-petition fighting to keep their show on air. The LGBTQ became upset over the "angelic" Duggar family banned their lip-locking posts in response to the lip-locking trend that Jessa Duggar and her new husband, Ben Seewald started right after their wedding.
It seems like the numbers game isn't doing well on the side of the Duggars as Michelle Duggar, the matriarch of the family has only collected around 12, 000 signatures according to Us Weekly. With the light of the social controversy, it seems like has given rise to an entire social media war to put America's conservative family to an end.
Will the Duggars allow their show to be pulled the plug? It seems unlikely as this angelic family won't go down without a fight, It will be exciting to see the social drama unfold.
