With the top 10 contestants working their way into the final weeks of season 7, tensions are getting high. The Voice coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharell Williams continue their roles as mentors and guides to their respective team members. During this Tuesday's live results show, two contestants were sent home, while one was given another fighting chance to stay in the game thanks to the Instant Save.
The top 10 opened Monday night's show with performances to impress the viewers to win their much-needed votes. Team Adam, Team Blake, Team Gwen, and Team Pharell all performed their hearts out in order to vie for that coveted spot on the top 8.
The first performance of the night was from Team Adam's artist Matt McAndrew who sang Coldplay's "Fix you." This was then followed by a performance from Team Gwen member Anita Antoinette. She sang "Let her go" by Passenger.
Damien from Team Adam performed Stevie Wonder's "You and I." Reagan James from Team Blake sang "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea.
Team Pharrell artist Luke Wade performed his cover of "Try a Little Tenderness" by Otis Redding whileTeam Blake member Craig Wayne Boyd sang "I Walk the Line" by Johnny Cash.
Ryan Sill of team Gwen "Starlight" by Muse. This was followed by DaNica Shirey from Team Pharrell who sang Whitney Houston's classic hit "I Have Nothing."
Team Gwen's Taylor John Williams took to the stage to sing "Come Together" by The Beatles. Team Adam member Chris Jamison was the last to perform as he sang "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars.
Tuesday's Eliminations saw Reagan James, Ryan Sill and Anita Antoinette in the bottom three. Reagan performed Nelly Furtado's "I'm Like A Bird", Anita sang "The Remedy" by Jason Mraz while Ryan is singing "Collide" by Howie Day.
In the end, Ryan Sill was given the save while Anita and Reagan James were eliminated. As the top 8 emerge triumphant, the competition can only get more and more fierce.
