Mimi Faust recalls how she and her ex-boyfriend Stevie J, who is also the father of her child, landed a career on VH1's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. She also admits that they already had an argument even before the auditions, Enstarz reported.
Mimi heard about the auditions from a close friend of hers and, at first, she was reluctant then to try out with Stevie J-but she got convinced and went on for it. Interestingly, she managed to win the attention of the producer even before she entered the audition room.
She then shared that she and Stevie got into an argument in an unlikely place. "Stevie and I weren't at a good place at the time. We had an argument in the lobby of the hotel. We didn't know anybody was watching. We weren't yelling and screaming but you could tell there was a problem. And Mona's assistant saw us. We followed her upstairs and they chose us immediately," she said.
She claimed that she had been honest during the audition process but she had doubts about Stevie J. "I was very honest. He, not so much. He actually was very not honest actually. Everyone was looking at him like 'What are you talking about?' I said, 'YOu wanna know the truth? He doesn't know how to come home at night.'"
Meanwhile, Benzino has not only been fired from 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' but he is also being chased by the government for tax evasion. And he doesn't seem interested to end his legal woes since he allegedly threatened to file a lawsuit against his VH1 co-stars, Fashion 'n Style reported.
Citing Wet Paint, Fashion 'n Style wrote that he threatened to file a defamation lawsuit against his former best friend Stevie J and his wife Joseline Hernandez. Benzino accuses Stevie and Joseline of death threats and for terrorizing the other cast members-which is also believed to be the reason why he and fiancé Althea Heart were fired from the show.
"I'm a terrorist now? these people are so delusional & the biggest LIARS out here, we ain't on the show & they still need us for storyline," Benzino wrote on Twitter. "Think about it, did @VH1 say I got fired for making Death threats? NO! These are very harmful allegations, looks like a defamation lawsuit."
