It looks like Taylor Swift won't be singing some sad songs for a while. Multiple reports are suggesting that the "Shake It Off' singer has a new love interest in the person of Matt Healy, the lead singer of the band "The 1975."
Earlier this month, the focus on The 1975's concert was Swift and her posse of celebrities, fellow singers Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding. But Healy's confession to Shazam Top 20 revealed that swift actually met the hunk probably after the show and the two had exchanged digits.
"I met Taylor Swift, that was really nice. We exchanged numbers. Let's see what happens," Healy told radio host Angus O' Loughlin.
When pressed for more details, Healy said, You're calling that, are you? Let's just see what happens. I mean bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? She's a sensation, I wouldn't say no."
HollywoodLife said that Swift's attendance to The 1975's concert wasn't the only thing that made people notice that there might be something going on between the two. Swift actually wore Healy's band's tee. Healy returned the favor by wearing a t shirt bearing swift's latest album cover, "1989," in one of the band's concerts. Billboard also observed that Swift favorited a Twitter photo of a barely covered Healy during one of the band's concerts.
E! News said that prior to the dating buzz, Swift's comments about dating made her sound like a spinster. She said then, "I'm really happy about the fact that being single doesn't feel like being alone. I have love in my life, I just don't have a relationship, and that feels really natural right now. It's not that [I've sworn off dating] as much as I'm just very protective of my happiness. I found a place in my life that feels really great and I'm not willing to compromise that for just anyone."
