The World AIDS Day Concert in Times Square, New York City had performances by some of the most famous artists in the music industry including American Idol winner and multi awarded country artist Carrie Underwood and in time for her pregnancy the beautiful mom to be was one proud mama as she flashed her growing baby bump.
According to Hollywood Life, the 31-year old soon-to-be mom was glowing and wore a black wrap coat and looked as beautiful as ever, and was part of a list of other big star performers like Bruce Springsteen, Chris Martin, Kanye West and U2 for the concert entitled "A (RED) Thank You".
The surprise U2 World AIDS Day (RED) event is said to have been upon invite by the band's front man Bono despite having suffered from an accident from a bike back in November.
A report from CMT reveals that Underwood accepted the invitation from Bono to sing during the event as proceeds to the concert will be benefiting all those who suffer from the disease.
In a statement by Bono he reveals that, "Today, 13 million people have access to life-saving treatment, up to from 300,000 just over 10 years ago. Americans don't know the role they've played in this fight. Tonight's event is to inform them and thank them."
The last minute addition of Underwood to the list of performers has made her participation even more a big hype for the event especially for fans of the country singer who has managed to win the heart of America since winning her idol title back in 2005.
News from Taste of Country notes that the event will be broadcasted on YouTube and apparently Underwood will also be performing during the CMA Country Christmas event.
Underwood performed at a previous event also in New York City for a great cause. She performed back in September during the Global Citizen Festival for poverty.
