While most people would consider it a nightmare to bump into their exes post-split, one does not have the choice when in Hollywood. Just weeks after their breakup went public, teen pop sensation Austin Mahone is set to make an appearance on '"he Today Show" in December 9. According to reports, his ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello, who is a member of the all-girl group Fifth Harmony will also make an appearance on the same show.
According to a report from Headline Planet, "NBC Network's official 'Today Show' listings, the girls of 'Fifth Harmony' will be participating as 'celebrity elves' for the 'Today Toy Drive' on that episode." On the other hand, Mahone will be promoting his new book, "Just How it Happened."
The young couple started dating in October 2013. The pair denied rumors of them dating until Camila confirmed the status of their relationship earlier this month. All seemed smooth sailing for the pair, Mahone even stated in recent interview with Teen Vogue magazine, talking about his "amazing girlfriend."
"She's an amazing girl, and we have the best time together."
"I wasn't looking for a relationship," said the teen idol, "but we became really good friends when we were on tour."
The pair split up in late November this year. It was Cabello who spoke up about the breakup in an interview with KISS 96.1.
"We're actually not together anymore. Hey, things happen." the member of Fifth Harmony said.
She even joked, "I need some misletoe action."
There were reports that the relationship ended badly, even rumors that Cabello was just using the relationship to boost record sales.
Mahone has since then addressed the rumors via Twitter saying, "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard...Nothing like that even happened at all. Idk what source u guys talking 2."
The segment is set to air in December 9, 7 to 9 AM on the "The Today Show".
