Cosby, at the age of 77, is now again facing a lawsuit before the Superior Court of Los Angeles for allegedly molesting and sexually abusing Judy Huth when she was still 15 years old as reported by Hollywood Reporter.
CBS News reported that the actor has faced multiple lawsuits in court before for allegedly sexually abusing women but this is the first time that he will face charges of sexual abuse of an underage since 2005.
According to Huth's lawsuit, she and her 16-year old friend were invited by Cosby to his tennis club after meeting them in one of his film sets. She further alleges that the actor gave them alcoholic beverages before bringing them to the Playboy Mansion. Cosby told the teenagers to lie about their age and tell that they are 19 years old when asked.
Huth alleged in her complaint that she was forced to commit sexual acts against her will in one of the bedrooms of the Mansion. While Huth did not specify the amount of damages she is seeking from Cosby, she said that the incident caused her "psychological damage and mental anguish" and "that the same has caused significant problems throughout her life".
There have been several sexual assault charges against the comedian for the past several weeks according to CBS News Timeline Report.
On December 1, 2014, Cosby resigned as a trustee from Temple University Board of Trustees stating that
"I have always been proud of my association with Temple University. I have always wanted to do what would be in the best interests of the university and its students," the comedian said in a statement. "As a result, I have tendered my resignation from the Temple University Board of Trustees."
The fallout resulted to cancellation of his future projects from NBC, Netflix and others according to BBC.
