It's been more than a year since "Frozen" exploded into theaters- probably enough time for you to have purged "Let it Go" from endlessly repeating in your brain.
So it's the perfect time for more "Frozen"- and thus, another full year of the snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen. Disney has a "Frozen" short film in the works- "Frozen Fever," which will continue the story, directed by "Frozen" directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, and with a new song by the film's songwriters, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
E! Online has some details on the story- apparently, it's about Anna's birthday, which is being planned by Elsa and Kristoff. Only, Elsa's ice powers are causing her some problems (didn't she take care of that in "Frozen?"), and this party might not go off as planned.
Hollywood Life has more to the story- apparently, "Frozen Fever" will also involve Olaf, and it'll be in theaters on March 13, 2015. The short will air in front of Disney's live-action update of "Cinderella," following the continuing trend of Disney movies opening with a short.
And that's not all the "Frozen" we're getting... potentially. The Telegraph spoke to Idina Menzel, star of "Frozen," and in their interview she may have accidentally dropped the news that "Frozen 2" is coming.
In the interview, Menzel stated "that they're all in the works."
And when asked which future "Frozen" productions she'd be a part of (say, like "Frozen Fever"), here's what Menzel added.
"Not the stage show - I don't know what will happen with that - but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride,"
The movie? Interesting news, that. Maybe she just means "Frozen Fever." But maybe not.
Check back soon for the latest news on "Frozen Fever."
