It seems that the 23 year-old-rapper Azealia Banks is at it again with her intent to feud with another music artist on Twitter. After her previous beef with artists like Angel Haze, Diplo, Lily Allen, Pharrell and T.I., just to name a few, she is currently hitting back hard on Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.
According to Page Six, the Azealia versus Azalea feud took on a bad turn when Banks started tweeting last Wednesday in hopes to slam Iggy, as Banks believes that Iggy only cares for the black culture in times when she can benefit from it.
Us Magazine reported that the issue began after the Staten Island grand jury decided to relieve New York City police officer, Daniel Pantaleo who was involved in the death of Eric Garner in Staten Island last July when Garner was put on a chokehold by the officer.
The magazine added that the feud between Banks and Iggy was reignited after the on-and-off arguments over social media. And last Wednesday, Banks seems to have been especially ticked over the grand jury decision, even revealing her frustration with a tweet that said, "OKAY, what do i do to help this, to stop this???... How do i get involved?????... Im sick and tired of being sick and tired."
In news from Huffington Post, Banks was clearly outraged about the lack of support from Iggy regarding the issue, with one tweet where she lashed out saying, "its funny to see people Like Igloo Australia silent when things happen... Black Culture is cool, but black issues sure aren't huh?" and another, "If youre down to ride with us b*tch you gotta RIDE ALL THE WAY".
In the same report, Us Magazine even reveals that after the series of indirect tweets that clearly were directed at Iggy, Banks went straight to the point with a tweet that said, "I just really want to know what your fascination with Black women is..... Why do you want to act like us? I need to know... Why do you imitate us in such a way that i feel like you are actually making fun of us? Why?" The tweet has since been deleted.
