The successful hit "RuPaul's Drag Race" has just been renewed for its 7th Season. Hosted and produced by RuPaul, the new season for the show will include 14 new drag queens which were revealed last December 7, 2014 at the "New Now Next Awards," which honors the year's best new actors, artists, films, television and more.
Zap2it reported that the Logo TV Show officially unveiled the 14 drag queens after the airing of "RuPaul's Drag Race 15 Fan Favorite Queens". The special show revealed the fifteen queens as voted by the fans along with the uncensored scene from the past six seasons of "RuPaul's Drag Race". Fans will remember the reason why they were hooked with the show through all of the significant scenes and moments in the show according to Broadway World.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Executive Producer and Host, RuPaul said in a statement, "This year we have some of the youngest and oldest contestants in "RuPaul's Drag race herstory." He then warned, "Study each queen closely. Do not underestimate anyone. The girls that make it to the top this season will shock you."
Meanwhile, "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 7 hopeful, Miss Fame said in a post on her official Facebook page, "I am so excited to share that I am a RuPaul's Drag Race season 7 Queen! Together with Miss Fame, the 13 other hopefuls who are gunning for the crown include Tempest DuJour, Jaidynn Fierce, Trixie Mattel, Pearl, Kandy Ho, Ginger Minj, Max, Kennedy Davenport, Jasmine Masters, Violet Chachki, Mrs. Kasha Davis, Katya, and Sasha Belle.
"They are truly twisted, sickening, and out of control," said RuPaul. He was very excited with the new season, according to Broadway World, adding that, "I've devoted my life to the art of drag. But NOTHING could have prepared me for this season's queens."
