George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin pregnancy rumors: Rep denies pregnancy over a night out in Soho New York wearing a loose tiered black dress

No baby is on the way! George Clooney and wife Amal Alamuddin denied rumors about pregnancy. The issue sprouted when Amal was seen wearing loose-fitting dress in Hollywood. The couple however dismissed the speculations through a representative through Us Weekly on Monday, December 8.

Fresh from their wedding vows, the couple were photographed as they were leaving hotspot Soho House after spending a night out with friends. Alamuddin, 36, looked lovely in a loose tiered black dress which she elegantly draped with a cream cape-style coat and a layered necklace, reported Us Magazine.

One of the photos taken shows that the British human rights lawyer was placing her hands above her tummy-making observers suspect that she was rubbing her tiny baby bump. Yet another photo of her reveals that she was trying to conceal the protruding tummy from prying eyes using her velvet berry clutch in front of her stomach as she bade her friends goodbye. As soon as these photos were published, social media began formulating conclusions about the possible pregnancy.

Just as fans are starting to buy the pregnancy rumors, a rep of the couple denied the issue about the coming of the first child. "Amal Clooney is not pregnant," the rep said

It can also be noted that a similar issue surfaced in the past. In early September, pictures surfaced of the then-engaged Amal Alamuddin wearing a flowing maxi dress. One photo captured a breezy moment where her dress blew slightly away from her body-but a gust of wind does not a baby make, and that report proved to be false, E! News reported. The actor denied the issue and obviously all that baby bump speculations are more of a product of imagination and have no substantial bases except photos that don't really prove anything, at least in these cases.
