Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams victims of Sony gender payment inequality? Hacked information shows Lawrence and Adams receiving less back-end payment for "American Hustle"

Sony hacking reveals Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams receiving less back-end compensation at 7% than their male counterparts Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, and Jeremy Renner with 9% for the movie "American Hustle."

Jennifer Lawrence is linked with a hacking incident again. This time, however, she was not the direct subject of the information leak. Hackers who identify themselves as "Guardians of Peace" hacked into Sony servers and have released information showing Lawrence to be earning smaller back-end "points" compared with male counterparts Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, and Jeremy Renner.

According to The Daily Beast, thousands of emails have been released by the hacking group, several of which involve Lawrence in a variety of topics. The most prominent, however, shows that Sony has payment inequality between genders. The article mentions an email dated December 5, 2013 from Andrew Gumpert, Columbia Pictures President of Business Affairs, to chair of Sony Pictures Entertainment Amy Pascal and Doug Belgrad about receiving a call from Lawrence's legal representatives.

"Got a steve warren/Gretchen rush call that it's unfair the male actors get 9% in the pool and Jennifer is only at 7pts," Gumpert mentions in the email. "You may recall Jennifer was at 5 (amy was and is at 7) and WE anted in 2 extra points for Jennifer to get her up to 7. If anyone needs to top Jennifer up its megan. BUT I think amy and Jennifer are tied so upping JL, ups AA," the email further reads.

The Guardian lists Cooper, Bale, and Renner all at 9%.

Hacked emails also revealed Lawrence having "numerous pleasant exchanges" with Pascal "over her dazzling turn in 'American Hustle,'" The Daily Beast continues. The movie was co-financed by Columbia Pictures, which is a Sony arm. Emails about Lawrence also have her being considered as a replacement for a "Cleopatra" biopic being done with Angelia Jolie in the lead. The emails were between Pascal and screenwriter, Brian Helgeland, who has apparently given the suggestion some thought.

Apart from being linked with the Sony hacking, Lawrence is also currently being linked with the alleged rekindling of romance between "uncoupled" Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. Citing OK! Magazine, IB Times shares Martin and Paltrow going on a secret Texas getaway where they were described by a source to look inseparable. The couple allegedly continued to New York City to support Cameron Diaz in a Saturday Night Live stint.
