As for the sequel of the Oscar-winning film, several reports agree that the plot of the second one will take the inspiration of the original Hans Christian Andersen fairytale 'The Snow Queen'-and that means that it will have a darker story. The story tells of Gerta who seeks her friend Kai who was taken by the Snow Queen. She has to kiss him in order to free him from the spell, reported Latino's Post.
"The Snow Queen" is easily one of Andersen's most famous stories, and has been published and transcribed in many languages all over the world. The first 'Frozen' film was derived from this story as well, starring Princess Anna who goes on an adventure to save her sister, Queen Elsa, who ran away because of her magical powers, wrote Ecumenical News.
