Kris and Luhan might have parted ways with the widely popular K-pop idol group EXO, but both are making a name for themselves as solo artists in their home country of China.
Kris, who is now professionally known as Wu Yifan, is currently busy with the pre-promotions of his movie "Somewhere Only We Know." While the movie will be released in time for Valentine's Day next year, it was reported recently that he is working on another movie called "Fading Wave" by Guan Hu.
Yifan attended the upcoming Chinese movie's press conference on December 12. Two days after the event, he posted on his Weibo account a photo of him reading his script in preparation for the movie's upcoming filming.
The photo goes with the caption that reads, "Being secretly photographed...Tonight's homework: reading the script."
Koreaboo noted that a link to his next movie "Fading Wave" was posted in the comments section.
Meanwhile, Luhan's movie "20 Once Again" has released its official English poster along with the theater release dates in the U.S. The movie is the Chinese version of the hit Korean comedy movie "Miss Granny," according to KDramaStars.
Other than Luhan, the film also stars Bolin Chen, Yang Zi Chan, and veteran actress Grace Geui.
The movie tells the story of a widow in her seventies who mysteriously returns to his twenties. The plot takes a hilarious twist when the lead characters' grandson, who is played by the former EXO member, becomes infatuated with her.
"20 Once Again" is slated to be released on January 16 in select theaters in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Houston, and Seattle.
Meanwhile, Kris and Luhan are scheduled to enter their respective third and second court-appointed mediation rounds with their former record label, SM Entertainment, on January 16, 2015. Kris has filed for a contract-nullification lawsuit in May while Luhan did the same October.
