As "Fast & Furious 7's trailer becomes a hit online, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and the rest of the cast remembered the late Paul Walker at the Universal Studios Hollywood for the sequel's trailer debut, as reported by E! Online.
The 7th sequel was the last film Walker did before his death last year.Diesel referred to his late co-star as "a special angel" in the special event. A Daily Mail UK article quoted Diesel as fondly remembering his former co-star by saying:
'It's touching because we lost such a special person, a special angel. That was the beginning of that, and allowed for us to have this multicultural brotherhood and family.
In a Classicalite article it was revealed that actress Jordana Brewster considers the Fast & Furious series a family whom she belongs to time and again as part of the cast. In the same article, Brewster considered the late Paul Walker as a friend and not just a co-star.
The new Fast & Furious 7 sequel acquired a new title and overall theme following Walker's passing. Walker's brothers, Caleb and Cody, did their shares of appearances in the sequel as their brother's demise is confirmed.
Cast member Tyrese Gibson shared the challenges of having to film the sequel after Walker's death, by fondly making these statements:
'We did whatever we had to do as a family to, like, rebuild each other and have the conversation that only we could have, to help us to get through that very rough patch.'
"Fast & Furious 7" is set for release in theaters sometime in early 2015. The film's first series was released in 2001. Since then, Furious has gained a steady fan base all over the world that is always up on its feet for the film's subsequent franchises.
