Buy 'Dragon Age: inquisition' for 33% Off in New Origin Sale - Bioware Drops Two New Content Packs

By

If you've been waiting for an excuse to buy "Dragon Age: Inquisition" for the holiday season, that excuse is finally here: Bioware's latest in the "Dragon Age" series has just been put on sale on Origin.

Gamespot reports that EA's Origin service, a competitor to Valve's widely popular Steam, is having an extensive game sale to compete with Steam's annual holiday sale. The sale will last through January 6.

Gamespot has the details on which of the biggest game franchises are currently going for a discount on Origin.

Both "Battlefield 3" and "Battlefield 4," "The Sims 4," "FIFA 15" and "Metro Last Light" are all on sale, but most of note here is "Dragon Age," which is currently on sale for only $40.

Gamespot adds, however, that certain games- say, "Crisis 3" and "Mass Effect Trilogy"- may be on sale, but they're actually cheaper elsewhere. Places like Amazon and Gamestop are actually selling those games for even cheaper than Origin.

Before this, "Dragon Age: Inquisition" was actually on sale for $39.99 in Origin, so this new sale really isn't changing much. But it's still cheaper than you'll find it any other time of the year.

Bioware is also adding two new content packs to "Dragon Age: Inquisition" for the holiday season. Their official site delves into the first details for "Destruction" and the "Deluxe Update."

"Destruction" is an update to the game's multiplayer, that adds wild animals, which roam the map and can attack any player. "Destruction" is completely free.

The "Deluxe Update," meanwhile, costs $9.99, but adds new mounts, new gear, a digital copy of the game's soundtrack and a throne carved from an enormous dragon's skull.

Like we said- if you've been waiting to get "Dragon Age: Inquisition" at a discount, that discount's finally here.
