"Sister Wives" season 6 is filled with old conflict being brought back to the surface. Case in point, Janelle Brown admits she struggles with the personality differences in the family and not fitting in with everyone. Janelle also mentions having problems with Meri Brown for a long time.
Sunday evening, January 4, was the date to watch out for fans of the show "Sister Wives" on TLC as it returned from its winter hiatus. According to TV Fanatic, the show centered on Janelle and her therapist upon its return.
Kody Brown's household of four wives is not without its problems, as Janelle herself has opened up about the difficulties she's been having in season 6's premiere episode. According to Starcasm, Janelle got upset with a lip synching and dance number for Mykelti's graduation. "When I saw them starting to dance, I thought 'I don't even know how to move my body like that, and I am not gonna get up there and try for the first time right now... I just don't dance. It is like the worst thing on the planet, for me," Janelle says.
It isn't just the dancing that she has problems with, though. In the household, Janelle mentions having the feeling that she isn't being heard. Talking to her marriage therapist, Nancy Hunterton, Janelle says, "There's a lot of things that happened over the years that were very hurtful to me, but especially between Meri and I."
Janelle continues, "For me, It's about not being heard. There are times when I am sitting there, talking with the family, and it's like, nobody's hearing me. They're not hearing me at all... and Meri's is heard. It's an interesting insight into the core difference between Meri and I, and why we've struggled over the years."
Apart from Janelle's problems, season 6 also has new things to deal with. According to Reality Tea, the Brown family will be welcoming a new woman, who might not be a fifth wife after Kody said in the last season that they have met their capacity and will "stay with it the way it is," adds IB Times.
If the mystery woman isn't already the wives' therapist, speculations include her being a surrogate mother or a mother-in-law.
