Cameron Diaz has tied the knot with boyfriend of eight months Benji Madden on Monday evening with Benji's twin, Joel Madden and wife Nicole Richie along with other stars bearing witness to the ceremony held in Beverly Hills.
Following an engagement in December, Cameron's single life has officially ended with her marriage to the Good Charlotte guitarist on Monday, Daily Mail reports. According to the website, the ceremony was witnessed by Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Drew Barrymore, and married couple Nicole and Joel Madden. Also joining the roster of stars in attendance are Toni Collette, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Samantha Ronson, Nancy Juvonen, and Robin Antin.
Nicole and Joel's five-year-old son, Sparrow, joined the entourage as the ring bearer, Daily Mail adds. Nicole and Drew were bridesmaids alongside Cameron's sister, Chimene, and assistant Jesse Lutz, says Us Weekly. According to NY Daily News, Nicole had a hand in the beginning of the couple's relationship, as she reportedly introduced her husband's twin to Cameron.
Daily Mail describes that preparations for the big event included having a white tent in Cameron's backyard and a truck full of floral arrangements courtesy of The Velvet Garden. The white tent could supposedly hold up to 100 people and was kept cozy by heat lamps. The affair was kept private by security personnel lined outside the estate, with only the couple's closest relatives and friends in attendance.
According to People, a source mentioned having the security tell the neighbors that Cameron was hosting a pre-Golden Globes party night to keep the wedding private.
Before the wedding, the newly married couple allegedly already had a party on Saturday at the II Cielo in Beverly Hills. People mentions Drew, Joel, and Nicole as also in attendance at the couple's intimate dinner rehearsal.
Known celebrity wedding planner Yifat Oren took care of the ceremony, which was held on Monday, 7:30 PM, says NY Daily News.
Cameron's bachelorette party was also held in a LA Hotel, adds Daily Mail.
