Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae is almost complete at 80% production. Square Enix is optimizing and polishing the game before its release to the fans of the game series.
Lead Game Designer, Wan Hazmer, said that the upcoming playable Demo of Final Fantasy XV, Episode Duscae, is almost complete, according to Nova Crystallis. "The last 20% is crucial" said the Final Fantasy XV Lead Game Designer calling it "hell on earth" and only the "optimization, polishing and debugging," remains before it can be fully launched. He also plead to the fans to test the demo well which will be an open world with a fast paced action battle system. He further added that "feedback is crucial towards the success of this new numbered Final Fantasy" which is similar to the view of the game director, Hajime Tabata.
A game trailer for Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae was also shown during the annual Jump Fiesta in Tokyo and it reveals a lot of new details in the playable demo and the game as well.
Reportedly, the playable Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae demo will have the same features of the full game. Players will be able to experience first-hand the unique in-game day and night cycle of the game wherein a full in-game day will run for an hour which will consist of 45 minutes of daytime and 15 minutes of night time. They will also need to camp and use food in order to level up their characters. Summons will also be included in the playable demo as well as a full town open world exploration.
Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae will be made available to gamers who pre-ordered Final Fantasy Type-0 or during its initial release edition. While Final Fantasy Type-0 is set to be released on March 17 for Xbox One and PS4, Square Enix still hasn't released an official statement on the launching date for Final Fantasy XV.
