'Gone Girl' Missi Pyle's Impersonation flatters Nancy Grace; Character wears "the right hair and black leather," she says

Here comes the Academy Award and Gone Girl's lead actress Rosamund Pike earned it. Though the movie fails to get more nods from judges, its perfect blend of actors and David Fincher's direction attracted huge moviegoers around the globe. However, one of the unforgettable parts of the film was Missi Pyle's character that personified HLN's real-life cable host Nancy Grace.

Grace is fully aware that Ellen Abbot, a character created by the book author Gillian Flynn, patterned from her. In Fincher's highest box office film yet, Abbot is the key person why puzzled Nick Dunne (Affleck) became prime suspect of his missing writer wife Amy (Rosamund Pike). She is observant of Nick's every weird moves and somewhat persuading public to persecute him.

In NPR's report, Pyle shared from the start she knew that she has to breathe most of Nancy Grace's traits into her Ellen Abbot's system. She even divulged that Film's costume designer Trish was very excited knowing Grace prefers a lot of loud and leather kind of outfits.
