Lara Croft's adventure lives on in The Rise of Tomb Raider that has been confirmed as an Xbox One timed exclusive video game set on Christmas 2015 release date.
Kpopstarz wrote that the news of Xbox exclusivity of the second entry to the Tomb Raider title came out via social mediate when a Twitter user posted a query on who is the publisher of the game, Microsoft or Square Enix, directing the question to game developer Square Enix's Aaron Greenberg.
Greenberg responded, "Yes, Microsoft will be publishing Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox. Microsoft has always seen huge potential in Tomb Raider and they will get behind this game with more support across the development, marketing, and retail than ever before, which we believe will be a step in continuing to build the Tomb Raider franchise as one of the biggest in gaming."
However, the game dev made it clear that their partnership with Microsoft Studios does have a time involved.
'Our partnership with Microsoft on Rise of the Tomb Raider does have a duration, but we aren't discussing those details at this time and are focused on collaborating to deliver a great game on Xbox One and Xbox 360,' a representative for Square Enix revealed.
Meanwhile, here are gameplay details to preview what to expect from Tomb Raider 2 game. Rise of the Tomb Raider release is based on the novel, Tomb Raider: The Ten Thousand Immortals penned by Dan Abnett and Nik Vincent.

Her adventure then begins as she races against time and fights a secret organization that is on the same quest-to find the relic first.
