"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" will have a delayed release date for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Bandai Namco, the game developer, says that the delay is necessary to "ensure highest possible gameplay experience".

Bandai Namco is pushing back the release of their upcoming fighting game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" into a later date. The game was originally scheduled to be released on February 17, however, the game developer re-scheduled the release date a week later according to Game Spot. The game is expected to hit the console shelves on February 24, while the PC Steam version will be on February 27.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" is developed by Dimps who once worked in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series. The Christian Examiner reported that the fighting game will have a character creator which will allow the players to choose the race of their character. Character race includes Saiyans, Namekians, Earthlings and Majins. The demo of the game was reported to have 16 playable characters which includes the Dragon Ball fan favorites, Goku, Gohan Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Future Trunks, Vegeta, Nappa. They also include Raditz and a First Form Frieza. There are five other custom characters which gives a sample on the new "character creation" feature of the game.

The villains of the game can have their powers boosted and amplified. According to the report of iDigital Times, the players can encounter these amplified villains in the single-player campaign of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse". According to the report, recent trailers of the game shows several villains going under a
"Violent State" which was triggered by Towa, one of the new antagonists in the game.

However, the said malevolent transformation doesn't only affect the enemies of Goku. Rumors have it that Gotenks, Piccolo, Vegeta and other characters can enter the said "Violent State". There was also suggestions that Towa's spell can turn Mr. Satan into a challenging fighter.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" will be released this coming February for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. While it was pushed back a week later, fans can expect that they will have a blast once the game hits their consoles and PC.
