'The Good Wife' is pushed aside by foot ball players of AFC. Well that's the case of CBS's decision to halt Julianna Margulies' starrer series in favor of championship coverage of the said football league that will last a little over a month.
Season 6 of the Good Wife's break at its 12th episode where Alicia Florrick (Marguilies)'s hot debate with Frank Frady (David Hyde Pierce) in connection to State's Attorney race. Per episode of the hit legal and political drama it ends with cliff hanger that hooks audience to religiously follow Alicia's journey. However, the show's avid viewers have to wait till March 1, as analyzed by Cartermatt.
Furthermore, they're set connect the short break to rating games among the networks that usually air sports programs and awards nights. January to February is the season when NFL Super Bowl, Golden Globes, Grammys and others like the news site mentioned. As for CBS' updates on their hit legal and political drama, the network doesn't give information yet for show's Episode 13.
Meanwhile, show's Kalinda Sharma is expected to go somewhere audience can't see her anymore. This is because British actress Archie Panjabi who plays the role decided to resign and will exit in the show at the end of season 6. Radio Times' interview Panjabi reveals that it's because of her other project, The Fall, where she's acting Reed Smith and co-stars of Gillian Anderson.
"When I was kissing her, Allan Cubitt, the show's creator and director, had to say, 'Archie, can you hold back?', because Gillian was supposed to take me by complete surprise," said the actress who Emmy Award for her role in The Good Wife. "I didn't think that I was very forward in (the scene), but obviously after a while a character starts to affect you.
