By

"Hannibal" will return on air this year with its brand new Season 3. NBC reveals that Will Graham will be joined by his bride this season which will be portrayed by Nina Arianda.

Nina Arianda is a famous theatre vet according to the International Business Times. She is famous for her role in "Venus in Fur" wherein she won as Best Actress in the 2012 Tony Awards. She has several films under her repertoire which includes "Win Win," "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby" and "Midnight in Paris". She has appeared in several TV shows including "30 Rock," "Hostages" and "The Good Wife."

According to The Christian Times, Arianda will play Molly Graham in the upcoming Season 3 of "Hannibal". Molly will make her first appearance on the eight episode of the hit TV series and she will be Will's wife and mother of their 12 year old son. Arianda's character was described to be in her 30's, a strong and vibrant woman who will be helping Will Graham to forget and overcome his past. It was also reported that Molly will be supportive of Will Graham in the upcoming episodes especially when Will was called back to serve with the FBI again. Fans of the Thomas Harris, the author of the Red Dragon, will notice that "Hannibal" TV Series is slowly taking up the storyline and plot of the novel. It was also reported that parts of "Silence of the Lambs" will be explored in the upcoming season.

"Hannibal" TV Series is based on the character of Dr. Hannibal Lecter who is a cannibalistic brilliant serial killer. Hannibal's character was adopted from the novels of Thomas Harris which includes the "Red Dragon", "The Silence of the Lambs" and "Hannibal".

In related news, The Christian Post reported that cast member Gillian Anderson, who portrays Hannibal's Psychiatrist, Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier has said that "Hannibal is too dark for me!" She even added that "If I'm going to watch some of my scenes, I need to have my finger on the fast-forward [button]. I literally am not that person." This might lead fans to believe that the upcoming season will have a darker theme considering that Dr. Bedelia and Hannibal have left the United States in the last season's finale and, presumably, made their run in Europe.

However even if Anderson felt that Hannibal is too dark for her to watch, she is still excited to play the role of Hannibal's psychiatrist. She said that "What I am interested in there is I know the genius of [showrunner] Bryan Fuller and how extraordinary it is, what they're creating in an artistic vein." she then added that she can't say no to the part since she'll get to work with great actors in the TV series.

"Hannibal" Season 3 will air its premiere episode in early summer this year. Fans can expect a darker experience this Season. Stay tuned for more updates on its premiere episode!
