Fans of the Zoe and Wade relationship will indeed be happy about the exciting news. After many disappointing years of watching Zoe and Wade not getting in quite right in their relationship, things are going to get better for the couple from then on.
Zoe Hart finally told Wade that she is pregnant with his child. She had even assured him that she is intent on raising her child alone. Wade, however will have none of it. Will we finally see a full fledged relationship between the two?
"Zoe is in 100 percent. She's going to do it; she's going full steam ahead." said show producer Leila Gerstein in an interview with Hollywood Reporter, "This is not a year where we're going to be throwing in exes and love triangles. This is about the two of them growing up ... and how they're going to make a future together, not so much will they make a future together." she continued.
Gerstein also said that she had anticipated how many newcomers would join the show in order to develop the plot between Zoe and Wade's. She is also planning to give current characters some development.
Hart of Dixie is already on its fourth season, but it is in danger of being cancelled as it was absent from the list of shows that the CW Network had granted an early renewal. While fans of the show worried that this was going to be the show's last season, Mark Pedowitz, the network's president was quick to dismiss rumors.
"We'll get an opportunity to see how it plays with Jane the Virgin. If it ends, [this season is] a great series finale; if it doesn't end, it's a great season finale. But we're not committed one way or another," he said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. .
According to the International Business Times, the fourth season has only been renewed for ten episodes. Would the Zoe and Wade ending be the 'great finale' that Pedowitz was talking about? Would the Zoe and Wade storyline be enough to boost ratings? Only time will tell.
