The second installment of "Pitch Perfect" will be coming this 2015, and according to the cast, it is going to be better than the widely successful first movie. However, information about the sequel is sparse thanks to a gag order to the cast.
Not much is known about "Pitch Perfect 2," but it will apparently be filled with surprises, Food World News says. To date, the latest rumors say that pop star Christina Aguilera could be up for a cameo for "one of the most successful musicals in recent times."
However, evidence that Aguilera will be included in the movie seems lacking.
In the meantime, more confirmed information about the second movie comes from the lead star herself, Anna Kendrick, who appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers, reportedly. During her guesting on the show, Kendrick talked about filming with football players, specifically the Green Bay Packers.
According to Kendrick, the Green Bay Packers were fans of the first show and were asked to make a cameo. The Chicago Tribute says the group "kept gushing about how good it was on Twitter," which apparently thrilled producers of the movie.
The Green Bay Packers apparently were more than just "big furly football players" as they "knew the final song by heart" and Clay Matthews can sing well.
Apart from Kendrick, actor Brittany Snow also revealed snippets of what to expect from the sequel. IB Times mentions Snow revealing that the movie will feature several mashups and a number including glow sticks and hula hoops where everyone went "crazy."
"There's all sorts of madness. We got to get a little down and dirty," Snow shared to E! Online, despite producer Elizabeth Banks' gag order on any information.
Back in December, Rebel Wilson, who plays Fat Amy, also hinted at having a solo, mentions MTV News.
While "Pitch Perfect 2" will be premiering on May 15, "Pitch Perfect" has already premiered on TV on ABC Family.
