Since the release the Warlords of Draenor, the fifth expansion of the World of Warcraft, it has continued gaining number of gamers. This adds to the nostalgic experience to gamers worldwide with its different blends of experiences that comes with new adventures of the game.
According to Ausgamers that posted a personal experience to the new expansion, it is not that different experience with the previous expansions, however, the Draenor sets the gamers to journey from 90 to 100 based from the series of plot twists and turns. The Alliance and Horde have wound up in an alternate universe on the other side of the iconic Darker Portal.
They added that instead of stumbling continent of Outland, the gamers will suddenly become part of the orcs' rewritten history in Draenor's realm. "It's a convulated plot device with an interesting purpose: it puts you in places you feel like you've been to before, even though they're barely recognizable," the same site cited.
The nostalgic experience of the World of Warcraft remained in the new expansion since its 10 years. The Draenor is also considered an avenue that recalls the adventures of the previous expansions as well like the Burning Crusade last 2007. The gamers will expect that aside from the Outlands, the key characters can see the resurgence in the era before the Burning Legion.
Though this is not quite different from the rest of the expansion history of the World of Warcraft, yet, it is also considered as one of the hardest game that each gamer will be playing. As Gamespresso stated, Draenor requires all players to learn first the dungeon mechanics and should be able to work properly as a team since it has changed each class and the talent tree choice. They also took away some abilities that could have been in the game like in Vanilla, one of WoW's previous expansion.
It was reportedly that gamers should possess complete add-ons to guarantee the best experience. Joystiq reported that there will be collections that features the WoW inside favorites as well as the must-haves.
The site listed the must-haves that gamers should have as an essential tool to enjoy this particular expansion. These includes the GTFO, which gives audible notification and is a real necessity especially for those low-power PCs; SavedInstances, is a big help to keep track the raid each has or has not completed in a week; Multishot, is an add-on that automatically saves a screenshot of boss skills, achievements, and other memorable moments in the game; and MoveAnything, it is a raid toolkit that lets the gamers move their element on the screen.
Blizzard has caught the gamers and mastered the needs of each game by formulating their secret formula no free to play components. With much of the dedication of the developers, each gamer can have a promising game especially if there would be another expansion. Gamespresso also showed the current statistics of the gamers.
World of Warcraft's developer, Blizzard Entertainment has already have around 8 million players with approximately 120 million off the game per month based from the recent population.
