The seasoned gaming fans must have already been looking forward to Halo 5: Guardians, the newest main title added to the Halo franchise, set to arrive to Xbox One on a release window this year.

Game dev 343 Industries General Manager, Bonnie Ross, talks of Halo 5 as a massive and exciting project which has been designed from scratch up for Xbox One platform.

"Making a Halo game that runs at 60 frames per second, on dedicated servers, with the scope, features and scale we've been dreaming of for more than a decade, is non-trivial," said Ross pointing out that 343 Industries takes such matter significantly.

He continued saying, "Any time you transition to a new platform, there is the opportunity to look at things with a new perspective. For us at 343 Industries, the launch of the Xbox One was an opportunity to think about what stories we wanted to tell, how to tell them, and how best to push the Halo franchise to showcase the platform and most importantly, combining our passion for Halo with the vocal and informative input from our fans."

Meanwhile, reports from fans cited that this video game features a new multiplayer weapon, the Rocket Launcher, enabling the players' ability to kill a lot of enemies with a single shot. Several Halo fans have posted YouTube footage to unveil the new weapons and capabilities in multiplayer functions. A new map mode called Pegasus and Stronghold has also been mentioned.

Gamers who got their hands on playing the game's beta version during the launched testing have already gained gaming experience that this new main title to The Halo franchise has to offer to the gaming community.

There has no official announcement as to when it will come out, although, speculations suggest that information regarding the arrival will be confirmed at E3 2015 happening on June 16-18.

Rumored 'Halo 5: Guardians' release date will either be taking place on third or fourth quarter of 2015. Pre-orders are now made available at designated online retailers at around $40-50 subject to any change.
