The 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' release date has been set on December 15 this year. It was previously announced that its release will be around Holiday 2015, however, it was pushed through December.
'Rise of the Tomb Raider' is the sequel of the popular 'Tomb Raider' reboot from 2013 which was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, PC Advisor said in their site. According to Crossmap, this video game was highly-acclaimed reboot of the last year.
Reportedly, Microsoft was rumored to have an error in their announcements. But, it might be that there are earlier info leaks that they have to remove the announcement to make it more exciting for everyone. In this manner, they can manage to announce the final date of its release together with a gameplay teaser trailer.
On the other side, Microsoft revealed something about the Rise of the Tom Raider and what everyone should expect from this game. According to them, one of the first adventures of Lara Croft was forged into a true survivor. Yet, she is able to go deeper and see better glimpse of the deeper world. In the next set of adventures, she must be able to use her survival skills and wits as well as learning to trust new friends, and her total acceptance as Tomb Raider.
"Featuring epic, high-octane action moments, Rise of the Tomb Raider will take gamers to multiple locations around the globe filled with exploration spaces that are some of the most beautifully hostile places on earth," Microsoft said.
They added, "After hearing the cry from fans loud and clear, the game will put the tombs back into Tomb Raider, all in the franchise's gritty Survival-action style."
As narrated by Games Radar, the action scenes are gotten more worse for Lara Croft in the sequel. Gamers can also notice her darker esca pades. The villains, too, are expected to be more dangerous.
According to the same source, Lara Croft will be seen sprinting through a dark forest away from a 'full-grown marauding bear' which was labeled as the 'fast and not messing around'. In the darker environment, she will be facing danger with more cruelty. In the game, she can also be observed changing with the platforming.
On PC, Microsoft has given the publishers and the game developers to take the game to whatever platform they wish to be made possible as long as the game expires. It was also reported that it would follow the steps as 'Dead Rising 3'. Gamers would expect the PC version of 'Rise of Tomb Raider' by 2016 if the Holiday 2015 release will be pursued this year.
