'The Flash' Spoilers, Recap: Dr. Wells becoming more suspicion; Will Barry discover the truth behind Wells' house attack?

By

Barry Note (Grant Gustin) gave "The Flash" series a happy note end to its midseason premier when he decided to return to the crime fighting after his temporary retirement as a superhero by training Reverse Flash. He also moved back in with Joe (Jesse Martin) after Iris (Candice Patton) moved in with Eddie (Rick Cosnett). Yet, more observable suspiscious behavior were observed from Dr. Wells in Episode 11.

The episode began with Dr. Wells' help to Barry in taking down the criminal. According to the International Business Times, Barry was still buzzed with the feeling of being hero. On the other hand, Iris was being offered with a job by the city paper in recognition of her blog to the Flash.

However, though the episode started with smiles, a different twists happened when the meta-human attacked Dr. Wells' in his own home when he was walking around the house without his wheelchair.

As cited in Comic Book, when Wells went home well, there was a phone ring that interrupted while he was listening to a music. Suddenly, there was a voice on the other end of the line saying, "We both know what you did. It's time to pay the piper." Then, the glass ceiling was shattered all of a sudden. With his super speed powers, Wells was able to avoid the falling glass.

What is more suspiscious is that Dr. Wells didn't reported to Joe about the complete details of the attack. Instead, he was blaming the incident to anyone who just wanted to give a prank on him.

Inspite of his explanations, Barry was not convinced with what Dr. Wells had reported. He also knows that he couldn't fool Barry, who could tell that it had been a professional job by just looking in a broken glass. Though Dr. Wells had confessed to Barry about the real details of the attack and who was really the one who had done it. He said that it was Hartley Rathaway (Andy Mientus), a S.T.A.R. Labs protégé. A flashback revealed about the rocky relationship of Hartley and Cisco (Carlos Valdes).

On the other side, Iris, on her new reporter job, was thrilled. As cited in a report, she was unfortunately paired to the veteran reporter Mason Bridge. The veteran reporter treats her rudely and was even assigned to look over Iris. She also realized that the only reason why she was there was to find some papers talking about the Flash after pitching an original story.

She showed up in a staff meeting for Central City Picture News. During the meeting, she was rudely treated with her co-reporter, Mason Bridge. Erik Larkin, their editor, assigned Mason to watch over Iris. He told her that he's only interested to her mainly to her connections with The Flash.

In the police station, Joe told Barry about his observations to Dr. Wells' suspicious behavior when they got a call. Rathaway Industries was attacked, seemingly like the new meta-human can manage to control sound waves and tried to destroy his father's building. Barry was then on new costume to take down another foe.

After threatening to reveal Dr. Wells' big secret, Barry caught Hartley and brought him to the S.T.A.R. Labs holding cells. From there, the mentor and the mentee faced each other with Rathaway's presence, who was calling himself Pied Piper, and hinted that Dr. Wells would eventually turn on to Barry.

After Cisco and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) knew that there was a chance that a particle accelerator would explode, Dr. Wells, who tried to get ahead of Rathaway, confessed to Barry.

Cisco and Caitlin later realized that Rathaway had not been using his powers to destroy his father's building or must have wanted to be caught. Cisco then rushed to the holding cells, however, it was too late. He had already escaped even when Barry arrived. Rathaway was already gone.

After work, Iris met Barry at Jitters and complained about her day, especially how she used to admire Mason. Barry responds to her as a reassurance, "The people we admire aren't always what we want them to be." She really appreciated his belief to her.

After escaping, Harley was in a new cell at S.T.A.R. Labs. In that cell, Cisco was also there. He also told Harley that he has no longer the implants so he won't be able to escape again. Hartley insisted that he has to get out soon, but Cisco doesn't allow him to. Finally, he said that he knew the current location of Ronnie especially to what really happened to him. Despite that, Hartley assures that he will help him.

The episode ended with Dr. Wells, who was wearing a tychon device in his chest. Gideon had been advising Wells not to do it, however, Wells insisted and still infused himself with the speed force. He also admitted that his speed is inconsistent that it reached the point where he can't walk properly at all. Yet, he knows the temporary solution to the problem.
