Cyberconnect2 will be rewriting the history of Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja franchise games with the upcoming release date of its newest and final main title, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4.
Based on the February issue of V Jump Magazine, it's been revealed that this new entry to Naruto title will have the widest number of playable characters in the history of the game series.
The game will not just feature fighters from Haijirama-Madara fight but it will have the characters from The Last: Naruto the Movie including the popular but older versions Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, and Sasuke.
It is also reported that the Shinobi World War will be recreated as promised by Bandai Namco Games stating that the Ninja Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will deliver a 'whopping series of beautifully Anime-rendered fights' to be featured in the next gen Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms.
The publisher's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Chris Gilbert is quoted as saying, "The Ultimate Ninja Storm series continues to be one of our most popular franchises and its leap to the new generation of hardware ensures that it won't stop now."
"CyberConnect 2 has always poured their hearts into the Naruto franchise and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 promises to be an ultimate realization of the series so far," he added.
To date, records show that twelve million of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm title has been sold worldwide.
The sixth and said to the final installment to the game series that will soon be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam is a direct sequel to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.
As what has been previously reported, game creator Cyberconnect 2 top executive Hiroshi Matsuyama has officially confirmed via a Twitter post in December that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4 sees a 2015 release date.
