From the past few weeks, "Hart of Dixie" teased the viewers to its with different possible twists to the episodes. Finally, Zoe and Wade are together. For this Friday night's episode "Red Dye #40", an investigation will set place to Shelby's aforementioned dye mixed with her mysteriously given chocolate with the aforementioned dye in it and she's allergic to it.
While the investigation sets into place, the revelations to the relationship of Zoe and Wade will slowly be exposed to the general public. The residents of the town, though busy with preparations for the talent show, asked Zoe about baby names. They have also asked her if she didn't use protection or if she is wearing a table cloth.
"I don't understand why telling people about us is such a big deal," Zoe said.
Although the entire community will be talking about Zoe and Wade's relationship, there will be a sort of discussion regarding the mystery that has been happening in the town. As said in the same site, when Lavon (Cress Williams) hears Lemon's (Jaime King) financial woes, he immediately organized a talent show in BlueBell giving the townpeople the chance to win including Lemon.
During the contest, Shelby's (guest star Laura Bell Bundy) sudden illness is also another mystery that the town has to solve. Because of being too compromised, Zoe and Wade is now forced to reveal their current relationship status.
At the end of this Friday's episode, Lemon will soon realize that she doesn't want to be with George anymore. Lavon, on the other hand, discovered that a drunk AnnaBeth that she has still feelings for him.
According to Cartermatt, as noted by the executive producer Leila Gerstein, the reason why Rachel Bilson and Wilson Bethel's characters keeping that as a secret is to preserve something that they feel to be rather sacred for the time being.
The site also added, "if they can keep people from meddling their personal lives, we're sure that that they would prefer this. After all, BlueBell is a town that has become known for quite a bit of meddling over the years," Gerstein said.
