Tom Brady had a cold when he appeared in the media day for Super Bowl XLIX, which just few days before his team, New England Patriots,' fight with Seattle Seahawks in Glendale, Arizona on February 1. But this cold is perhaps a minor thing for the football star, who is now accused of propelling the Deflategate scandal.
With three championships and MVP titles under his belt, Brady is certainly not just someone in the field of football. However, recent happening taints the reputation of Gisele Bündchen's husband. It is said that his team use the tactic of deflating balls by 2 pounds, which should be has air pressure of 12.5 to 13.5 pounds per square inch (psi), to get ahead of the game. The so-call called Deflategate Scandal reportedly discovered in recent AFC championship when New England Patriots won over Indianapolis Colts.
For the reason that when a ball has less air pressures it is easy to grip and throw, this became a Tom Brady's issue knowing he will benefit from it as New England Patriots's quarterback. The sports star and his coach Bill Belichick they had no something to do with this.
"It's all speculation," Brady said when he guested on WEEI. "I've tried to wrap my head around it, too. I've done that and I'm trying to move past that, because I continue to try to rehash things. I personalized a lot of things and thought this was all about me, and my feelings got hurt. Then I moved past it, because it's not serving me. What's serving me is try to prepare for the game ahead. I'll deal with whatever happens later. I'll have my opportunity to try to figure out what happened and figure out a theory like everyone else is trying to do. But this isn't the time for that. Honestly, I'm not interested in trying to find out right now, because we have the biggest game of our season ahead."
Aware of Brady's news Katy Pery, who is expected to rock the half time show, managed to include that in her spiel during Super Bowl press conference for her upcoming big performance.
"I think I can assure everyone in here that nothing in my performance will be deflated," Roar singer said.
