Game of Thrones Season 5 premiere is no doubt the most awaited and highly anticipated TV fantasy saga series to ever hit the small screens this coming April since its debut in 2011.
Just this weekend, the epic new trailer for the fifth installment of the adaptation of George R.R. Martin's novel, 'A Song of Ice and Fire' is released to hype up the multitude of fans across the world.
The preview posted on the show's official Facebook page has shown fan favorite familiar characters as well as new faces from the country of Dorne. Sansa Stark is seen with the deceiving Petyr Baelish, Varys and Tyrion to get Daenerys on the Iron Throne, Arya Stark getting agile with sword and the mighty Jon Snow as the new Lord Commander of Castle Black. Meanwhile, actress Sophie Turner who plays the role of Sansa Stark has reportedly teased that Game of Thrones season 5 as "Bigger, better, more blood and more deaths."
Turner has also dropped hints as to what fans can expect to happen to the Stark sisters.
"Arya has an incredible storyline this year, I have to say. Sansa has an amazing storyline line as well. A lot of hard stuff hitting home, but that's just 'Game of Thrones', isn't it?" she said.
Gwendoline Christie who acts as Lady Brienne has also shared that she thinks the script of the fifth installment has completely blown her away.
"Every year [I] think, "How can they possibly top it? How can they make this better? And I put aside my time to read them, and I could not stop reading them...Every year I get a moment of "I can't believe they did that! But this year, they're doing things that are so unconventional that I think it's really pushing the boundaries of the way we view television," she said.
Both of these two GoT casts are also invading the big screens in their respective upcoming films. Christie makes her movie debut on Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens while Turner plays the red haired young version of Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Game of Thrones season 5 premiere episode airs April 12 on HBO.
