Alive and kicking, Korean pop boy band EXO is very busy these days with their left and right activities. Recently, the group received Album of the Year and Popularity awards at the 4th Annual Gaon Chart K-pop Awards. If those awards are not good enough, SM Entertainment also confirmed new album coming up from the group, a proof that they back in the game.
2014 tested EXO' solidarity especially when two of its members Luhan and Kris decided to discontinue their tie with SM Entertainment. But at the Gaon Chart, Xiumin wasn't present too, was there something going on with him? On his acceptance speech, Suho shared their triumph to him, who had actually cold and fever that day according to SM Entertainment management.
"We would like to share this glory with our member Xiumin who could not be with us here today," Suho expressed.
"But Xiumin seems back to his good condition as per his update on Instragram. He uploaded a selfie snapshot with Shinee's Minho when they were at MBC' Idol Star Athletics. Xiumin captioned the selfie with "Finals thanks to our EXO-L. Thank you."
Meanwhile EXO encountered unfortunate event when their fans become uncontrollable in one venue. In KPopStarz' report, the EXO had fan meeting on January 31. But that merry moment became a sour experience when some unruly supporters created commotion. It even came to a point that two EXO stars asked their fans to calm down according to the article.
"This is very unfortunate," D.O. said to their crowd. "Safety is very important."
To settle the situation, the group temporarily left the stage and only came back when everyone calmed down. On the other side, EXO doesn't need to plea generally to their huge fans in supporting their activities and even speech. In AllKPop's report, fans even can make a book a best seller one if it's endorse or use by their idol. An example of it was the Traveler's Read to which Kai quote on his acceptance speech during SBS Gayo Daejun.
"They say, 'Someone's life can be another person's landscape.' We hope to show our EXO fans greater sides of ourselves in the future," Kai's quote.
