'Dragon Age: Inquisition' Review, Update: EA General Manager to release improved games; 'Mass Effect' not to affect on sales

From it's last year's release, "Dragon Age: Inquisition" has enjoyed huge success in Bioware's history, however, it won't affect the next Mass Effect game's release.

Currently, BioWare is developing a new Mass Effect game though speculations of the possibility that this game's would be altered to fit in the template of the Inquisition. Cited by PC Gamer, Aaryn Flynn, the general manager of BioWare, clarified the theories gained by traction.

"All of our games are in Frostbite now ... We've said that the next Mass Effect (and our new IP, but I won't expand on that yet) uses some of the technology from DAI. We've been enjoying building larger areas that you can explore with less friction, so that'll be there as well," Flynn said.

Flynn also defended that the next ME game will be more successful as the previous DAI release by drawming more on its rich and successful past. So, the feeling of doing much better for the upcoming release of the game than the previously developed and released game was much emphasized by the general manager.

"Take the Mako, something we've already shown in prototype form. We had that in ME1, and bringing it back is more related to a feeling that we can do it much better than we did before and fulfill the original promise of that gameplay," Flynn contrasted this theory to DAI, "That has nothing to do with DAI. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that dropping the older consoles has had more impact on the overall gameplay goals of the next Mass Effect game that what DAI successfully accomplished."

The same site source also said that Flynn is also proud of the accomplishment of the DAI, but that won't be the same template for the next series of ME games. In each game according to him, there should be a unique experience by innovating and improving the game based on what it may considers the best. That means, that in each game's release, it should be successful in terms of its own success rather than depending on the previous game's.

The said game was released last November 18, 2014 developed under BioWare and was published by Electronic Arts. As detailed in a game site (ign), the game revolves around the world of Thedas that was being torn apart by a massive, mysterious sky breaches. Thus, the players should be responsible with the role of the Inquisitor and should be able to lead the team of legendary heroes as they uncover the truth behind the impending devastation.

Andrew Wilson of the Electronic Arts quoted DAI's success with a statement through emphasizing the hard work made to make a great game. So, the game has attracted more and more gamers each day.

He also added that the players of the Battlefield 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Sims 4, the EA Sports Portfolio will be expecting continuous updates and improvements with their content as well as taking the form of having an additional multi-player stuff including single-player as well.
