'Risk' Release Date, Gameplay: Ubisoft Unveils Classic Board game to Xbox One, PS4

Hasbro, Inc. and Assassin's Creed publisher, Ubisoft, has just released the new-gen console versions of Risk and is now available for download to all the fans of this popular wartime strategy board game worldwide.

The video version of the new game is based on the classic board game and sees to arrive on PS3 and Xbox 360 early this year.

The Risk console game offers a modern twist for gamers as they start on their quest to rule the world. While keeping the authenticity of the classic 2010 rules, the world's famous strategy game has also reached new boundaries with its 3D tactical Battlefields, configurable win conditions and Risk Legacy rule variants.

In addition, this new console game that can be played by up to four players enables them to unleash their inner commando strengths from a control room and conquer the world with the use of a classic map layout.

Players who win the battles will be entitled to exciting videos of global combat like the epic tank battles and air combat set in 3D unique environments

Risk game also introduces the artificial intelligence, Iris, designed to provide tactical guidance by way of tutortials and feedback as to what is latest events in the world. Players can get their hands on modern strategy warfare online and join in one of four different league competition.

This console version of Risk is a product of collaborative efforts between Hasbro, Inc. and Ubisofts for the premier strategy game entertainment millieu, Hasbro Game Channel.

The Hasbro Game Channel is an avenue to classic and innovated versions of fan favorite Hasbroboard games now on next-gen consoles providing a social layer to each game by capitalizing on consoles' distinct advantages to maximize the gaming experience.

Risk console versions release can now be downloaded from Hasbro Game Channel on Xbox One via Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft and Playstation 4 system for $14.99.

Risk video game is also set to arrive in PS3 and Xbox 360 versions in early 2015.
