Battlefield Hardline open beta release date arrives this week to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PS4, and PS3 starting February 3 and culminating on Feb 8.

The Beta test allows players to use new gadgets, create new tactics and display combat skills on two different maps and modes.

In the beta version, one can choose from three new modes such as the Hotwire, Conquest and Heist. There's also a new feature called 'Hacker' that allows gamers to hack security cameras so as to advance in the game by being able to check on enemies and securing allies in safe areas.

The Hotwire mode features criminals involved in hijacking hi-speed cars where a police chase happens to retrieve the stolen vehicle.

Conquest mode, on the other hand, that can fit 64 players becomes available in a desert town called the Dust town popular for illegal drug trade. This mode apparently is tagged as the players' favorite mode.

Then there's Heist mode that can be played in the Bank Job map where criminals strive to gain access to a vault and will be pursued by law enforcers. Players can choose either of the sides to take.

Visceral Games encourages players to play this beta to death and solicits comments in their forum page so the developers can include these fan suggestions into Battlefield Hardline and make necessary changes before the official release this March.

Executive Producer Steve Papoutsis also expressed his thanks to the fans and players of previous Battlefield games for their feedbacks to make improvements on the newest version of the game.

"We learned a ton from you in the first beta, enough to help us make the tough call to push the game back so we could add more and make the game better," said Steve.

The developer treats players who go out to test the open beta with a Hardline Dog Tag that they can wear all throughout the duration of the battle.

Battlefield Hardline official release date is on March 17 for Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
