Apple is officially launching its latest operating system iOS 9 for iPhone and iPad at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 9.
According to traffic site AppleInsider and Breath Cast, new iOS 9 for Apple gadgets is under testing to see how it will differ from the present system released by the firm. It shows a stable circulation growth as the year 2015 opens.
Breath Cast said in a report: "The results showed that apart from a 17 percent higher web score, the upcoming firmware is at par with the iOS 8."
Chiefs of the firmware have not confirmed rounds of rumors and speculations yet to gadget freaks other than the expected debut of the operating system and the traffic rise. However, the multinational corporation is also accommodating probability of leveraging some of its newly-acquired services to boost Maps features.
The Cupertino-based tech titan is withholding the interesting details for its keynote conference at the WWDC 2015, a report commented.
Apple, meanwhile, is expecting their purchase of Embark and Hop Stop will trailblaze public transit mapping applications to be built into the platform.
In 2013, the company acquired WifiSLAM which shows Apple's curiosity in dabbling into indoor navigation technology. The technology allows mapping of indoor wifi access points which lets a smartphone to locate places in realtime.
In an Apple forum, fans call for creativity as the primary need rather than memory upgrade.
Fans now are up wondering how this operating system would look like. Reports suggests there will be a total makeover as seen from iOS 7 and iOS 8, where buttons and new features are showcased. A new and improved lock screen, new desktop and a control center is expected. Apart from the previous looks, the new OS is likely to have circular icons coming from squared icons.
Along with the grand debut of the new iOS 9, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will also be unveiled whose RAM size will be doubled.
WWDC will commence on June 8 until June 12.
