“Top Chef” Season 12 Finale Spoilers: One More Challenge before the Finals; Winner To Be Announced in Two Weeks

By

After several weeks of challenges and cooking on the "Top Chef" Boston 2015, the final three chefs are going to face head on and only one is walking away as the winner of the show. But before that happens, there is still one more week of challenges and another chef to be eliminated.

In the week 14 of the cooking competition, the second of the three part finale, the remaining chefs are brought under the sun inside a lush and beautiful organic farm, Purisima de Kalpa, locaed on the outskirts of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The organic farms supplies top restaurants in the region with their fresh and nutritious produce.

For this week's Quickfire Challenge, the chefs must create two dishes with chocolate as the main ingredient. One dish needs to be sweet and the other one savory. It's an easy task considering how common chocolate is used in cooking. But what will make a chef emerge better that the other is the uniqueness of the menu he or she will create from this very common ingredient.

On the other hand, in this last elimination before the Finale, each chef has to create a six-course progressive menu. Each dish should highlight one Mexican ingredient. The main ingredient should be different from the first one so they need to feature 6 unique Mexican ingredients for the finals.

More tensions flares as one gets eliminated after the test and the two left will then go on a one on one battle for the finals. With the sun above their heads this episode is definitely a fiery one to look forward too.

Joining the panel of judges for this episode include Richard Blais, Eduardo Palazuelos, Zarela Martinez, Enroque Farjeat, Marco Beteta and Bricio Dominguez.

"Top Chef" Boston airs every Wednesday night on Bravo TV.
