What has happened to Bobbi Kristina Brown remains a no-clue for everyone-some says she is brain dead, some says she is no longer in life support, but family says she is still alive but chances are slim.

Family refutes reports flashed by various media outlets that Bobbi has been declared brain dead as she still in life support.

In a press statement released by the family late Thursday, it brushed off reports that Bobbi Kristina is now brain dead but is "still fighting for her life."

"This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place," Bobbi's father Bobby Brown said. "We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time."

A source close to Houston and Brown family identified reports saying Bobbi has no brain activity any longer were false and malicious.

Whitney Houston's sole child has been confined at the Emory University Hospital last Saturday after being found unconscious right inside the bathtub of her residential home in Atlanta.

After being rushed to the hospital, Daily Mail reported that Bobby was placed under medically induced comatose and has been living through life support. Other reports say Bobbie has been removed from life support.

A family member told People magazine that chances to survive are too slim for the struggling patient and everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye. Jerod Brown, Bobbi's cousin, also said on social media the same.

"Though it seems the odds are against her, though doctors don't see any hope for change...though it looks impossible for her to stand again STILL PRAY FOR BK," Jerod posted on Instagram.

However, an insider close to the family told USA Today that outright wrong to comment that the family gathered around because someone has to bid goodbye, adding that the family has been there since the beginning.

In a report from Fox News Wednesday, the family is in dismal situation at the moment. "t's now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she's pretty much not going to make it," a source told Fox.

Attorney Philip Holloway told NBC News that Maxwell Lomas, 24, is very upset and in hopes to see Bobbi Kristina "open her eyes, wake up and make a full and complete recovery." Maxwell Lomas is Bobbi's frequent house guest who found her unconscious in the bathtub.

Lomas was seized in January on grounds of weapons and drug offenses and pleaded not guilty.

Police authorities who responded to the scene found Brown drowning and performed CPR. Police said no drugs were found contrary to speculations.

Reuters reported that in a video interview over Skype with E! News on Wednesday, Jerod asked people "let the detectives do their jobs" and stop spreading false rumors about his cousin.

The six-time Grammy winner Whitney Houston also died in drowning incident inside a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills on February 11, 2012. The singer-actress battled against substance abuse and heart disease which primarily caused her death at age 48.
