Battlefield Hardline PS4, XBox One, PC Release Date: Hidden Reload Animations Revealed; Open Beta Resolution Also Discussed as Final Launching Set in March

By

The Battlefield Hardline beta release arrives some this week (February 3-8), offering a full week of play this version for the Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

With the Battlefield Hardline beta anyone can play the game a month before the Battlefield Hardline final release date in mid-march. This can be great because the Battlefield 4 release comes with a lot of problems. Additionaly, folks playing on PC can use this benchmark preview to find out what kind of performance their graphics card will deliver.

However, Digital Foundry has analyzed the newly released open beta that the Xbox One is limited to 60fps at 720p, while the PS4 will run at 60fps at 900p. At first, the consoles were said to be running at 1080p, but performance obviously fell short at this resolution.

"The overall takeaway here is that the Hardline beta looks and feels very much like its predecessor, and we can't shake the lingering sense that we should be seeing substantial improvements to both image quality and performance in a game launching over 15 months after its predecessor," Digital Foundry summed up their findings.

Many are still hoping that improvements will be made before the final release. However, it seems unlikely that we will see major changes as it is just a month away.

It was also reported that Visceral CEO Steve Papoutsis said that they encourage the gamers to play as much as they want and provide feedback immediately. That way, it will help the developers to improve the game.

Meanwhile, while everyone seems to be enjoying this game, most people might have missed paying attention to the reloading weapon animations in most shooters. According to a report, every time one performs an empty reload of a weapon in the game, every game can see crazy animation.

It was learned that this all came to light when some gamers posted their discovery. This prompts the creators to admit that there were more of them in the game and challenge players to find them.

The full version of "Battlefield: Hardline" will be released on March 17 in all platforms such as PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
