As per when nobody can tell. But one thing's for sure - that is, Xiaomi would have its own strategy to make its products available to India, like how it is now bringing its latest offerings to Malaysia and Singapore in a phased manner.
It costs RM 799 (US$225) in Malaysia and S$299 (US$220) in Singapore, respectively. Both countries start the customary online flash sales at 12 noon, but supporters of this brand will have to content themselves with limited choices especially in color and storage capacity.
The MiPad is available only in white with 16GB storage capacity in both countries. The good thing is, it supports microSD cards for extra storage.

Meanwhile, in India many were disappointed for missing out on Xiaomi's latest smart phones. The disappointent escalated as the manufacturer seems not to have India in its priority countries. This is despite India's enthusiastic attitude towards Xiaomi's products.
According to Mobile India "Xiaomi needs no introduction in India. Despite being a new player in the country and that too with its "Chinese" label, the brand has gained immense popularity in India with its affordable-yet-feature rich smartphones like Redmi 1S, Mi 3, Mi Note etc."
Other Xiaomi's products that are yet to be launched in India, aside from Mipad, include Xiaomi Mi Note, Redmi 2, Mi Note Pro.
Tomorrow's launching of Mi Pad in Singapore and Malaysia is a little late since it was introduced in China, it's host country, in July last year.
