'Outlander' Spoilers: Black Jack Continues To Cause More Harm To Jamie And Claire? New Teaser Promises Of ‘Much Darker’ Second Half

By

Fans of the Scottish drama series cannot wait for more as it is two months away before second half of 'Outlander' comes back. With this, producers of the show have released a new teaser video that gives fans on what to expect for the upcoming episodes.

The clip includes old scenes, as well as some new footage of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in bed. "You're just really going to love seeing what it means for the two of them to stay together, rather than get together," Balfe says.

Nevertheless, the video focuses more on Jamie's relationship with Capt. Black Jack Randall (Menzies). "The relationship between Jamie and Black Jack is really strong," says Heughan in the video.

"Jack Randall isn't quite finished with our couple, and it's going to be dark," the 'Outlander' executive producer Ron Moore warns the fans, and that it will be "all about fallout and repercussions."

He also told the fans that if they enjoyed the first part of the season, they will get to see a more complex story in the next part of the season. Caitriona Balfe talks about her character, Claire, saying that she has to become more honest with herself and Jamie.

Moreover, Tobias told that his character was intrigued with Jamie because he failed to break the young man on a previous occasion. Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie, said that there is "some kind of strange twisted respect" between his character and Jack.

Meanwhile, fans will also finally get a chance to meet Jenny's husband Ian Murray as well as witness an epic confrontation between Claire and Laoghaire MacKenzie too.

In Diana Gabaldon's novels, Ian Murray has been friends with Jamie Fraser since they were children. He is a former soldier who was shot in the knee and had to have the lower part of his leg amputated as well.

'Outlander' returns with new episodes on Saturday, April 4, at 9 p.m. on Starz.
